Ironquad LLC d/b/a Blinds Crafter

1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Blinds Crafter for your custom window treatment needs. By placing an order, submitting a deposit, scheduling a consultation, or permitting our team to perform measurements or installations, you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Blinds Crafter is a registered DBA of Ironquad LLC. All agreements, warranties, and responsibilities apply to Ironquad LLC.
2. Payment Terms

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at order placement.

The remaining 50% balance is due immediately after installation is complete.

Accepted forms of payment: credit cards, cash, checks.
Orders will not be submitted to production until the deposit is received.
By submitting payment, the Customer acknowledges acceptance of all Terms & Conditions.
3. Custom Order Policy (Final Sale)
All blinds and shades we sell are custom-made based on the Customer’s selections.
Therefore:

All sales are final.
-
No cancellations or refunds are allowed once production begins.
-
Any changes requested after signing or payment may incur additional fees.
4. Lead Time
Standard lead time is 21 business days after deposit is received.
Blinds Crafter is not responsible for delays caused by:
-
Shipping carriers
-
Customs
-
Manufacturing capacity
-
Weather
-
Supply chain disruptions
-
Any force majeure factors
Such delays do not invalidate the order or the payment obligations.
5. Customer Responsibility to Prepare the Workspace
To ensure accurate measurements and safe installation, Customer must clear all areas around and within window frames, including but not limited to:

Furniture
-
Wall décor
-
Plants
-
Valuables
-
Electronics
-
Religious or spiritual items
-
Loose cables
-
Toys, clutter, or boxes
-
Existing blinds/shades (unless paid removal is included)
Blinds Crafter will not move customer belongings unless explicitly requested.
6. Pets, Children & Safety
Customer agrees to:
-
Secure pets (dogs leashed/crated, cats confined)
-
Keep children away from work areas
-
Provide safe, unobstructed pathways
If unsafe conditions exist, Blinds Crafter may refuse service, pause work, or reschedule. Additional fees may apply.
7. Hazardous or Unsafe Conditions
Blinds Crafter is not responsible for handling or correcting:

Mold, pests, or infestations
-
Water damage
-
Structural instability
-
Loose flooring or carpeting
-
Electrical hazards
-
Broken or unsafe surfaces
If such conditions prevent safe work, the Customer must resolve them before service can resume.
8. Measurement Accuracy
Blinds Crafter is not responsible for:

Mis-measurements caused by blocked or inaccessible windows
-
Measurements provided by the Customer
-
Hidden structural issues in walls, frames, or mounting surfaces
Reorders caused by these conditions must be paid for by the Customer.
9. Installation Terms
Customer acknowledges that:
-
Installers may create minor cosmetic marks (e.g., screw holes, dust)
-
Installation may be refused if surfaces are unsafe
-
Blinds Crafter is not liable for damage resulting from weak, hollow, aged, or defective walls, ceilings, or window frames
Additional materials or reinforcement may incur extra charges.
10. Motorized Blinds (Battery-Powered Systems)
Blinds Crafter installs battery-powered motorized blinds, which:

Do not require hardwiring
-
Do not require connection to any electrical supply
-
Operate via built-in or removable rechargeable batteries
Customer is responsible for:
-
Recharging or replacing batteries as needed
-
Ensuring batteries are used properly
-
Maintaining cleanliness around the charging port
-
Providing a functioning charging outlet if the battery type requires one
Blinds Crafter is not responsible for:
-
Battery wear over time
-
Poor battery performance caused by customer misuse
-
Charging-related issues due to defective outlets or USB adapters
-
Wi-Fi or smart hub connectivity problems
11. Warranty
Blinds Crafter provides a limited 5-year warranty on manufacturing defects, varying by product line.
The warranty does not cover:

Damage from pets
-
Damage from children
-
Physical misuse
-
Environmental damage (moisture, heat, humidity)
-
Battery degradation (normal wear)
-
Electrical charging issues not caused by our product
-
Customer-provided incorrect measurements
-
Installation performed by third parties
-
Normal wear and tear
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, customizations, marketing materials, and installation methods created by Blinds Crafter are the intellectual property of Ironquad LLC and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
13. Appointment Policies
-
Appointment times are approximate
-
Customer or an authorized adult must be present
-
Missed appointments may result in a revisit fee
14. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Consultations may be rescheduled with reasonable notice.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
15. Furniture & Item Movement Waiver (IMPORTANT)
If the Customer requests that Blinds Crafter move any item—including furniture, décor, valuables, plants, electronics, or any household object—the Customer:

Assumes full responsibility and liability for all resulting damage or injury
-
Waives all rights to sue, dispute, or file claims
-
Releases Blinds Crafter and Ironquad LLC from any liability related to the moved item or surrounding area
This waiver applies whether permission is verbal or written.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Blinds Crafter is not liable for injuries or damages caused by unsafe customer environments
-
Blinds Crafter is not liable for property damage when items are moved at the customer’s request
-
Blinds Crafter’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service
-
Blinds Crafter is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages
17. Acceptance of Terms
Customer accepts these Terms when they:

Pay a deposit
-
Sign an invoice or order
-
Approve a quote verbally or in writing
-
Allow work to begin
-
Pay an invoice
-
Submit an online booking
Any of the above constitutes binding acceptance.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by:
-
The laws of the State of New Jersey for services performed in NJ
-
The laws of the State of Texas for services performed in TX
This ensures compliance in both operational states.
