Limited Product Warranty

At Blinds Crafter, we take pride in the quality of our custom window treatments and stand behind every product we install. Our products are manufactured using quality materials and are professionally measured and installed to provide years of reliable performance. This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage provided for manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal residential use.

5-Year Limited Product Warranty

Blinds Crafter provides a Five (5) Year Limited Warranty from the original installation date against defects in materials, manufacturing, and operating mechanisms under normal residential use and proper care.

If, during the warranty period, a product is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship, Blinds Crafter will, at its sole discretion, repair the defective product, replace the defective component, or replace the product with the same or a comparable model if the original product is no longer available. Replacement products may vary slightly in color, texture, or design due to normal manufacturing changes over time.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Blinds Crafter and installed by Blinds Crafter or its authorized installation team.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects resulting from:

• Manufacturing defects
• Defective materials
• Factory workmanship
• Defective operating mechanisms
• Headrails and internal lifting systems
• Manual operating components
• Manufacturer-supplied motorized systems (excluding batteries and accessories)

Coverage applies only when the product has been used under normal residential conditions and maintained according to standard care recommendations.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage, failures, or defects resulting from circumstances outside of normal manufacturing defects, including but not limited to:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper handling
• Accidental damage or impact
• Improper raising, lowering, or operation of the product
• Damage caused by children, pets, insects, or rodents
• Water damage, flooding, excessive humidity, mold, mildew, or condensation
• Fire, smoke, storms, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other natural disasters
• Improper cleaning methods or the use of harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning products
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications, or disassembly
• Damage caused by installation performed by anyone other than Blinds Crafter or its authorized installers
• Damage resulting from construction, remodeling, painting, or other work performed near the window treatments
• Normal fading, discoloration, fabric aging, or slight variations in color, weave, texture, or natural materials caused by sunlight or environmental exposure
• Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the normal operation of the product

Minor variations in color, texture, grain, or material characteristics are considered normal for custom-manufactured products and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Labor & Installation Warranty

Any installation-related or workmanship issues reported within twelve (12) months of the original installation date will be corrected by Blinds Crafter at no additional labor charge.

However, if the issue reported during the first twelve months is determined to be the result of customer misuse, accidental damage, improper operation, environmental conditions, unauthorized modifications, or any cause unrelated to manufacturing or installation workmanship, Blinds Crafter reserves the right to charge reasonable labor, service, transportation, and repair fees.

After the initial 12-month workmanship period, replacement parts covered under this Limited Warranty may still be provided; however, labor, service calls, travel expenses, removal, and reinstallation charges may apply.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

• Proof of purchase or original invoice
• The installation address
• A description of the issue
• Photographs clearly showing the alleged defect

Blinds Crafter reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty claim. Inspection may be conducted through photographs, virtual evaluation, or an on-site service visit when necessary.

Warranty service will be provided only after the claim has been reviewed and approved by Blinds Crafter.

Limitations of Warranty

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original installation location and is non-transferable.

Any repaired or replaced product will remain covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period and does not extend or renew the original five-year warranty.

Blinds Crafter shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of use, lost profits, delays, or expenses related to the removal or replacement of surrounding materials.

This Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Blinds Crafter and replaces all other express warranties. Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
